Episode #8: Earliest Palestinians

When did modern Palestinians first refer to themselves as such? Ro’i claims only from the beginning of the 19th century. Ahmed says that in the Arab mentality pre-1948 Palestine is also proof of a Palestinian nation, even though documents and coins also contained ‘aleph yud’ standing from ‘Eretz Yisrael’ (in Hebrew). Ahmed also explains why some Palestinians think that Jesus was a Palestinian (though both Ro’i and Ahmed believe he was actually a Jew).
